The
Lone Star Art Guild was born in Brenham, Texas in 1961. It's
membership currently consists of 22 art leagues within a 200-mile radius of Houston, Texas.
The yearly convention invites artists who have won an award at any of the
member league shows throughout the year to bring their winning
work and compete against other winners for the grand prize.
This year's competition included 576 pieces of artwork.
