Fire

This piece almost ended up a painting of just the door. It is found in an historic building in Sugar Land, Texas, the Imperial Sugar Char House. I was able to get quite a few photo references at this site before the local fire marshal no longer allowed anyone inside. I couldn't help myself, I added my sons to the painting. That was a challenge, since they were not in the photo references of the door. This piece was for sale, but I have grown attached to it and have taken it off the market.
