The Gift

This piece was done for me. My younger son always brought me little onion flowers he picked from the yard. I took that idea to the next level and pulled some daylilies from the landscape, roots and all, and asked him to model for me. The Gift is the result.

This piece won Best in Show at the Lone Star Art Guild – Convention 2008.
